Washington, May 12: The United States is working with the United Nations to rehabilitate hundreds of thousands of NWFP residents, fleeing the region because of the Pakistani Army's offensive against the Taliban, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said.
"The United Nations brings relief, they (UN) bring humanitarian aid. We are looking at what can be done to help the hundreds of thousands of people fleeing the region because of the Taliban and the Pakistani Army's offensive," the Daily Times quoted Clinton, as saying.
Addressing the Annual Global Classrooms DC Model UN Conference, the chief US diplomat referred to places experiencing conflict and violence.
"We worry about displaced people in Darfur. We just have so many concerns and the United States cares deeply about the entire world," Clinton said. (ANI)
